Who should get the flu vaccine? * Age 50 and over * Children age 6 months to 4 years * Those of any age with chronic disease or conditions * Anyone who would like to receive the vaccine Seasonal flu shots for ages 18 years of age and older should be available towards the end of the week of September 28th, 2009. Check our site periodically for updates. Seasonal flu shots: Please call our office if you need to get the seasonal flu vaccine. H1N1 flu vaccine: The killed virus vaccine for the H1N1 is not yet available. We were able at this point to only get the live virus vaccine. However, this vaccine can not be given to our patients, as it can not be given to people with asthma or any immune compromised condition.
